The St. John’s University Annual President’s Dinner has become the University’s premier fundraising event, with the revenue directly dispersed to deserving students in the form of much needed scholarships. During the past academic year, more than 94% of the University’s undergraduate students received some form of financial assistance. The economic downturn that continues to impact so many students and their families makes the success of the Dinner even more important.

A traditional feature of this event is the presentation of our prestigious Spirit of Service Award. It is given to a number of exceptional individuals who have lived their lives in the spirit of compassion for others so basic to the teachings of St. Vincent de Paul and the mission of the University.
